H.E. Dr. Rania Al-Mashat

Recap

The MENA edition opened with H.E. Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Egypt's Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation. The convening agenda: climate adaptation, digital transformation, and cross-border trade: the three structural questions MENA must answer in the next decade.

Roberta Gatti (WB Chief Economist for MENA) anchored the regional macro session. Country teams from Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco produced the cohort's most concrete output: a shared methodology for benchmarking productivity at the firm level across the region.
